Healthy Families and Access for Infants and Mothers Programs Continue to Enroll Increasing Numbers of Children and Women

The "Healthy Families" and "Access for Infants and Mothers" programs have no wait lists and the programs continue to enroll increasing numbers of children and women. More children and women are expected to enroll in the coming year in both programs.

The MRMIB which administers both of these programs recently adopted regulations authorizing, if it becomes necessary in the future due to a financial need, to create a wait list and/or disenroll people. The MRMIB has not acted upon this authority. However, if there is a future shortfall of federal or state funding, then the MRMIB may consider creating a waiting list and/or disenrolling persons along with taking other steps to manage program costs.

In the event that anything changes with regards to the programs, information will be made available to the public on this website and at our monthly board meetings. Should you like to be receive information about upcoming public meetings of the MRMIB, please contact ExternalAffairs@mrmib.ca.gov, call (916) 324-6936, or fax (916) 324-4878.
