Mr. Campana has over forty years of experience in education and public health. Positions held include health and science educator, principal, director of the neighborhood youth corps and health director of San Diego Unified School District. He has served on numerous boards regarding children’s health and well being. He received the Centers for Disease Control National Leadership Award for contributions to children’s health in CA. Currently he serves as senior research scientist with Education Development Center providing technical assistance to several CA school districts to improve health outcomes for children and school safety.

Mr. Campana is married, father of two children and has two grandchildren. He enjoys the beauty of California and travels through-out the state.
